Daiwa House has been striving to achieve building information modeling (BIM) mandate in-house since 2017, and it has achieved many results, but not enough to maximize value. In order to create further business value and establish a solid foundation where the company can benefit from future technology innovations, we're evolving our data strategy and working with Autodesk Consulting on the Digital Daiwa House project. To achieve the goal, we're working on implementing a higher level of BIM maturity while increasing the maturity of the data required for construction projects. We're also working on the configurator as a mechanism to convert structured/standardized data into business value. The configurator links data throughout the project lifecycle and enhances the coordination of each stakeholder. In proportion to the maturity of BIM and data, capabilities in the configurator improve. We are aiming to achieve such an evolving configurator.

SAMSUNG C&T uses digital twins to optimize building operations. We have developed a digital twin with BIM and AI in an office building with a total floor area of 100,000 square meters, and we are utilizing it to operate the building. The basic functions are the Energy/Asset/Space Management, and Virtual Tours. In particular, the energy management function monitors building energy usage in real time. And we have developed 10 solutions for energy management that can save energy while maintaining the comfort of occupants in the building. These solutions are derived through AI-based machine learning models and optimization algorithms to provide real-time notifications to building operators for sustainable and optimized building energy management. Therefore, SAMSUNG C&T aims to provide efficient building operation and management services by simultaneously implementing digital spaces, going beyond the role of a construction company that constructs physical spaces.

ITC Limited has developed a diverse range of infrastructure across various asset classes. However, the company recognized the need to improve project management by making outcomes more predictable. To achieve this, ITC looked toward digitalization and a cultural shift by embracing new technologies. The goals included enhancing data accessibility, incorporating building information modeling (BIM), improving digital maturity, and reducing regimental processes. In today's environment of digital project delivery, many opportunities exist for enhancing current project delivery processes from design to construction. This sharing session will build upon last year's tech talk: "Bridging Innovative Opportunities for Digital Project Delivery." It will touch upon the innovative initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)—the Project Delivery Collaboration Center (PDCC)—which had a soft rollout in Spring 2024. The PDCC is meant to be a one-stop shop or hub for project managers. The initial rollout familiarized teams with the backbone of the solution, Autodesk Construction Cloud. As the PDCC continues to develop and evolve, integrations with department systems and other off-the-shelf solutions will be implemented. A few key integrations in development are with Asta Powerproject Vision, Bentley Systems' ProjectWise, Sitelink, and Voyager. Behind the scenes, the PDCC is not one solution; but to the end user, the intent is that it appears as one.
